PERFEKT WORLD is proud to invite the Sydney based artist NUMSKULL to work and live in Vienna for a month. He will participate at the Artist-in-Residence program of quartier21 in March and rounds his stay off with an exhibition at art space PERFEKT BOX.
„BUST!“ explores the artists‘ fascination of the human obsession with beauty and the everyday struggle to keep up appearance. He finds the oddity in human relationships and interaction. From the simplest of personality quirks to the boldest of personality statements. Numskull uses bold, colourful and abstract like forms to create statuesque like figures that project a composite idea of us as people and how we might see each other.

Along with Ilk and L’Amour Supreme, we took over on old factory and painted a series of wooden canvases, walls and skate obstacles. All photos by ILK. See more on his website here.
I recently traveled up to Newcastle for the Hit The Bricks festival, where I worked with the Newcastle Art Gallery to create a mural that presents a positive message to the community. The gallery has (and still is) been through a handful of ups and downs recently, so I tried to paint an artwork that encourages present/positive thinking.

As one part of The Hours, in between organizing and getting things done for the Wonderwalls Festival, myself, Roachi and Wonderlust managed to power through the rain and paint this font wall in Wollongong. Thanks to Chris for the photos.
In collaboration with Mild Manners and iAM Projects, I painted over 70 rock formations down by the river at the old Gasworks in Brisbane.

Massive thank you to the team at Sunday Style for allowing me to take over their cover with Miranda Kerr and Hugh Stewart in today’s issue. I worked over Hugh Stewart’s photo for the cover and even managed to throw a handful of illustrations around the article’s on the inside. Thanks Sunday Style!
I’m so honoured to have some pages in this magazine, which was co-curated by The Hours and the great people from Kingbrown magazine. To celebrate we’re having launch shows in New York and Sydney with a heap of other amazing artists.
